About the event

This free webinar is for GPs, Practice Managers and Community Mental Health Practitioners in CAMHS or Adult Services supporting patients with mental health concerns. Find out how music - both making music and active listening - can improve wellbeing in both patients and staff.

Two of North London Music Therapy's HCPC-registered music therapists will take you through a practical series of strategies to help you help your patients integrate music into their everyday, improving mental health and wellbeing. We'll also think together how we can support staff mental health and wellbeing. Find out:

- What music therapy is

- How music helps with mental health

- What music therapy looks and sounds like, with examples from sessions

- How to access music therapy for your patients with mental health concerns

NLMT work across London with adults, adolescents and children, using music as part of therapy for those struggling with stress, anxiety or depression. With a new clinic opening in Greenwich in September 2023, we are looking forward to working with professionals in the area to tackle mental health conditions in the local area.
